With just one week left in the regular season, Southeast Minnesota has proved once again that there are some of the most talented high school teams in the state.
The Grand Meadow Superlarks found paydirt on their first play from scrimmage then the defense took over as the Superlarks beat the Spring Grove Lions 40-6.
Spring Grove trailed by 10 at the half but was able to hold Grand Meadow scoreless in the final three minutes to tie it up and send it to overtime, before winning the SEC battle 69-67.
The #4 seeded Fillmore Central Falcons got rolling early in each set to help propel them to a 3-0 sweep over the #5 seeded Spring Grove Lions Thursday night in Harmony.
