He pleaded guilty one week before the July 17th shooting at the Motel 6 where 12 rounds were fired into an occupied room. A woman inside was hit in the back.

The woman Brown had threatened was not in the room. But one of those who was in the room told the woman “that Brown was one of the two shooters firing at him.”

She relayed the information to police investigators. She also told police Brown had called several hours after the shooting and told her “the next bullet is for you, bitch.

Brown was later charged with attempted murder, felony assault and two other counts.

The other suspect in the motel shooting was formally charged last week.
