The Rochester Police Department Intelligence Unit shared the pictures of the suspects and learned they were members of a “organized Romanian theft group that has been responsible for numerous burglaries in Minnesota,” according to the court documents.

The criminal complaint, filed in Olmsted County Court on Thursday morning, indicates the bust stems from a disorderly conduct incident at a local shooting range.

The court document indicates a family of five was in the van when the shooting occurred, including a pregnant woman and three young children.

The victim in the case is an employee at the restaurant where the incident occurred. The court document also alleges the assailant sent the victim a threatening text message.

First responders were called to the scene around 4:15 p.m. The vehicle involved in the incident is being described as a pickup truck.

Authorities said she was last seen on December 20 along U.S. Highway 52 in Rochester.

Court records indicate he has a criminal record that dates back to 2012 and includes three prior felony drug convictions.

Rochester Police previously identified a body found on February 7 as 28-year-old Feroza Sherzai.

Rochester Police responded to the stolen vehicle report shortly after 10:00 Sunday morning.

The charges say the alleged pursuit began around 7:15 Friday night.
