The National Weather Service in La Crosse, Wis. has put out a Winter Storm Watch to start on Tuesday afternoon at noon and running until Wednesday afternoon at noon.

This comes after some mild weather here in Southeast Minnesota, and we can expect some snowfall starting on Tuesday afternoon. Our area is looking at about six inches of snowfall or more, although it is too early to tell where the largest amounts of snowfall will fall.

Road conditions are expected to be difficult, so be prepared if you do have to travel Tuesday afternoon/evening and into the Wednesday morning commute. It is still a couples days out, and the forecast can change, so remember to tune in to 103.1 KFIL for all weather announcements.
