Rochester Teenager Arrested For Ramming Ex-Girlfriend’s Car
Stewartville, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester teenager was arrested late Wednesday after his ex-girlfriend reported he had rammed her car with his vehicle on a rural Olmsted County road.
Sheriff’s Capt. Jim Schueller says the 16-year-old from Stewartville had been visiting a friend in Rochester and spotted the ex-boyfriend’s car parked nearby as she was leaving around 10:00 pm.
Schueller says the 16-year-old Rochester boy began following the girl and at one point, pulled in front of her car and stopped. He came to her car and began talking but the girl drove off.
The Rochester teen continued to follow her, tailgating her and swerving at her car. He eventually clipped the rear of her car, causing her to swerve. He drove off and the girl stopped and called 911.

While deputies were talking to the girl at the scene of the incident, the Rochester teen showed up with his mother and gave a different version of what happened. Schueller says his story didn’t match the evidence and he was arrested.
