The Southern Minnesota Medical Examiner’s Office has identified an Olmsted County detainee who died earlier this month.

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office conducted the operation and made the arrest on Friday.

Deputies and members of the Rochester Police Department, Rochester Fire Department and Mayo Clinic Ambulance responded to a person experiencing a medical event at the jail.

The notice says 43-year-old Jascon Jacoby Hollins caused “great bodily harm” in the course of committing the offense.

The man’s family believed he was on the property but could not find him. Deputies later located his body and suspected he was involved in an ATV accident.

Preliminary information indicated the man was on his property but his family could not find him.

Three vehicles were involved in the crash.

Statewide authorities issued over 51,000 speeding tickets during the “100 deadliest days” traffic enforcement campaign, which ran from May 1 through September 7.

A criminal complaint, filed in Olmsted County Court on Wednesday, says the incident occurred on the morning of September 16.
