We've all heard his famous "You May be a Redneck" jokes. I saw a post on Facebook with a spot on description of Minnesota - "you might live in Minnesota." I feel like the only thing he missed is if you break out the flip-flops as soon the temp is above freezing, you may live in Minnesota. Here are some of my faves:

  1. If you've switched from heat to AC in the same day and back again, you may live in Minnesota.
  2. If driving is better in the winter because potholes are filled with snow, you may live in Minnesota.
  3. If someone in Home Depot offers you assistance but doesn't even work there, you may live in Minnesota.
  4. If you carry jumpers in your car and your wife knows how to use them, you may live in Minnesota.
  5. If you have more miles on your snowblower than your car, you may live in Minnesota.
  6. If you design your kids Halloween costume to fit over a snowsuit, you may live in Minnesota.
  7. If you install security lights on your house and garage but leave both doors unlocked, you may live in Minnesota.
  8. If you've had a lengthy phone conversation with someone who dialed the wrong number, you may live in Minnesota.
  9. If you know all four seasons: almost winter, winter, still winter, and road construction, you may live in Minnesota.
  10. If you've worn shorts and a jacket at the same time, you may live in Minnesota.
