Man Arrested After Confronting Rochester Motorists At Silver Lake
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Rochester police were called to the Silver Lake Park area Monday night after a man began confronting motorists and stopped traffic.
The incident happened around 7:00 pm on West Silver Lake Dr. near The Landing shelter on the southwest side of the park.
Officers were told the man threw a bottle at a vehicle, breaking a window. He also tried getting inside the vehicle. The man then walked up to a Rochester Public Transit bus and began pounding on the windshield. He also got into a fight with a man before officers arrived.

As the officers were placing the man inside a squad car, he grabbed one by the groin. He later spit in the face of another officer while being booked into jail.
The man was identified as 28-year-old Mahamed Abikar, who is described as homeless.
