Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - It looks like a property dispute in Rochester’s historic Pill Hill neighborhood is over.

The property at 912 8th St SW is known as the Harry Harwick House was purchased by local plumber Michael Macken last year for $630,000.

Macken performed extensive renovations to the house and put it on the market. He also obtained permission from the city to split the site into 2 lots. The property has a large open space on the east side.

Macken’s plans to develop the second parcel led to a lawsuit by some neighbors.  As of Tuesday morning, it was still an active case.

Macken recently sold the entire property to Scott Zietlow, a Mayo Clinic doctor and a member of the family that owns the Kwik Trip company.

Records show the sale price was $2.6-million.
