Zac Brown Band member, John  Hopkins, was born in 1971 in Gainesville, Georgia.

1977, Eric Church was born in Granite Falls, North Carolina.  Eric won the Academy of Country Music Top New Solo Vocalist award in 2011.

Taylor Swift's "Tim McGraw" earned the singer a gold single in 2007.
