Crazy Minnesota Laws

Now I haven't researched the validity of these "laws",  but my guess would be that at some time in the past, they were probably on the books. Personally, I wouldn't worry too much about them today.   Hope they give you a chuckle!

Minnesota State Laws

It's illegal to stand around any building without a good reason to be there.  Minnesota declared the mosquito a public nuisance; I agree!  In Minnesota, it's illegal to wear a duck on your head.  All bathtubs must have feet.  All men driving motorcycles must wear shirts.

Minnesota City Laws

In Cottage Grove, airplanes may not be landed in city parks.  Minneapolis law states that people are forbidden from walking in and/or down alleyways.  Red cars may not drive down Lake Street.  Heading to Minnetonka?  Wash your truck first!  In Minnetonka, it's considered a public nuisance to drive a truck with dirty tires.  And in St. Cloud, it's illegal to eat hamburgers on Sunday.
