Country Music History May 1

The weekend didn't come soon enough!  Hope you all have a good one.  Get outside and enjoy the springtime weather.  We celebrate birthdays of two country music greats today.  1967 Tim McGraw was born in Delhi, Louisiana; 1929, Sonny James was born in Hackleburg, Alabama.  In 1982, Alabama's "Mountain Music" reached the top slot of the country Billboard chart.  Charlie Pride joined the Grand Ole Opry in 1993.  King George Strait received a gold album for "Troubadour" in 2008.
