Winona Man Charged in Deadly Fire
Winona, MN (KROC AM News) – Murder and arson charges have been filed against a Winona man connected to a house fire in March.
The body of a man was found in his burned-out Winona home the morning of March 25. The man was identified as 55-year-old David Seaman. Police classified the fire as suspicious.
Winona County Attorney Karin Sonneman says she filed two counts of 2nd-degree murder and one 1st degree arson charge Tuesday against 32-year-old Steven Edward Miller after a lengthy investigation, accusing him of causing the man’s death.
The Winona man is already in jail on a burglary charge. He will be arraigned Wednesday on the new charges.
