Mother's Day is right around the corner, literally. If you are anything like me, you procrastinate until the very last possible moment to get your mom a gift. In the past, I went for the homemade gifts. They were awful, but my mother loved them because I made. Or so she said....I wouldn't blame her if she thought they were horrible.

Anyway, this year I planned to be more proactive in my selection of a Mother's Day gift! After all, all mothers deserve to celebrate Mother's Day! So whether it is your wife, mom, grandma or any other mother in your life, give them thanks! They deserve it!

Here are some of the best Mother's Day gifts, according to Good House Keeping:

1.  Necklace

The Stamped Necklace is what is specified on the website, are easy to get, but take a little bit more planning if you are going to get them customized to your mother's initials or anything like that. Any type of jewelry would be a fantastic choice!

2. Cookie Cookbook

Okay, maybe this one is a little selfish, but my mother actually enjoys baking. Now she really enjoys cooking them from scratch, just like my great-grandmother did. A cookie cookbook is excellent for making treats and snacks for the family, and with all new flavors. It is worth a look if your mom is the baking type!

3. Homemade Brunch

This one is simple. Yes, I can be very elaborate if you want it to be, but every mother likes to have a little brunch cooked for her. Maybe it is just a simple bacon and eggs, maybe some french toast, pancakes. There are so many different options, and mother's would love it!
