Grand Meadow Police Officer Jason Meyer lost his life in the line of duty on September 6, 1999. Now, his family has helped create a scholarship fund for Law Enforcement students at RCTC, and have also made K-9 ballistic vest donations to the Rochester Police Department K-9 program.

According to the Fillmore County Sheriff's Office, one of the sources of money for these scholarships and donations made in Officer Jason Meyer’s name is the Tip Night, which is being held Monday at the Stewartville Pizza Ranch starting at 4 p.m.

If you are able, please head to the Pizza Ranch and help raise funds for a great cause in a great man's name. You can head over there and meet Officer Meyer's family, along with many other police and sheriff officers from many different departments, along with raising money for a great cause.
