Stewartville Man Killed in Motorcycle Wreck
Undated (KROC AM News) - A Stewartville man was fatally injured Friday night while riding a motorcycle in rural Mower County.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the 21-year-old was driving south on Mower County Rd 8 when the motorcycle left the roadway and hit a driveway. The man’s name hasn’t been released yet.
The accident happened around 10:00 PM west of Racine. The State Patrol says the road was wet at the time.
A northern Minnesota couple survived a collision with a moose Friday night after it ran into the motorcycle they were riding.
The State Patrol says the motorcycle was driven by 67-year-old Kenneth Shoberg of International Falls. He and his 65-year-old wife Mary were treated for non-life threatening injuries. There is no word on the fate of the moose.
The wreck happened around 9:30 PM near Big Falls.
