The National Weather Service says southeastern Minnesota is expected to be impacted by the storm system but the impact on travel conditions shouldn’t be severe. The Rochester area is forecast to see 2 to 4 inches of snow over the weekend while portions of Wabasha and Goodhue Counties could end up with 3 to 6 inches of accumulation by Sunday morning. The snow could also be accompanied by some freezing drizzle and gusty winds which could result in some very slick road surfaces throughout the region.
