Infant Injured in Car-Snowplow Collision in Rochester
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol has released the names of the woman and child who were hurt in an injury crash in Rochester that involved a snowplow Wednesday afternoon.
The report on the crash says 25-year-old Heidi Therkilsen of Fountain was driving north on Highway 52 when her car collided with a Minnesota Department of Transportation snowplow clearing snow from the right shoulder of the highway at the South Broadway interchange. She and her 1-year-son, Steele Therkilsen, were transported to St. Marys Hospital with what were described as non-life threatening injuries. The plow driver was not hurt.
The roadway was described as ice and snow-covered when the crash occurred around 1:30 PM.
