Zumbro Falls, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester woman suffered life-threatening injuries and her two young children were taken to St. Marys Hospital following a head-on crash near Zumbro Falls on Saturday.

The State Patrol says 44-year-old Hope Koutsoukos was driving a car south on Highway 63 when her car crossed the centerline and smashed into a northbound milk truck. The crash occurred just before noon about 5 miles south of Zumbro Falls near South Troy. She was not wearing a seatbelt.

The driver of the milk truck was not hurt, while the injuries to 5-year-old Christian and 6-year-old Grace Koutsoukos were described as non-life threatening.

Dexter, MN (KROC-AM News) - An early morning crash in Mower County sent a Rochester man to St. Marys Hospital.

The State Patrol says 23-year-old Anthony Stroukel was driving east on I-90 when he fell asleep at the wheel. His SUV went into the median and rolled before coming to rest in the westbound lanes of the freeway. The crash was reported just before 12:30 AM about three miles northeast of Dexter.

The injuries suffered by Stroukel were described as non-life threatening.
