Preston Welcomes Bike Share Program

Have you seen the new bicycles parked at Preston's Public Library?  The curiosity got the best of me so I checked it out.  The bikes are part of the new Root River Trail Towns Bike Share in Preston. It's my understanding that if you don't have a bike to ride, you can pedal away using one of the bike share bikes.  I'm not sure of the details of the program, but here's how you can find out. The program will be launched Monday July 31 from 4:15 to 4:30.

If you ride your bike to Preston's swimming pool, you get a prize.  How cool is that? The weather Monday looks delightful, a great day for a bike ride.  Bike Share Program is sponsored by Statewide Health Improvement Partnership (SHIP) of Fillmore County.
