One Minnesotan Killed After Crash Including Semi Tractor-Trailer
One Minnesota resident was killed after a three-vehicle crash that included a Semi Tractor-Trailer Tuesday morning.
The Minnesota State Patrol says a Peter-built Semi Tractor Trailer was traveling north on Highway 169 in Shakopee just north of Canterbury Road just before 8 a.m. and stopped for traffic. A Chrysler Town and Country and Ford Explorer were traveling behind the semi truck, and the Ford Explorer rear-ended the stopped Chrysler pushing it into the semi truck.
The passenger of the Chrysler, 52-year-old Shane Jones of Jordan, was transported to St. Francis Hospital where she was pronounced dead, while the driver, 57-year-old Milton Jones of Jordan, was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center with what is described as life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Ford Explorer, 30-year-old Heidi Jensen, and the driver of the Semi, 52-year-old Thomas Masberg, both of New Prague, were not injured in the crash.
