Stewartville Man Shoots Himself in the Butt

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Stewartville man accidentally shot himself in the butt while adjusting his gun and holster outside a local restaurant.

The incident happened around noon Friday in the parking lot of the Texas Roadhouse restaurant.

The 44-year-old man told officers he was in his vehicle when the 40-caliber gun accidentally discharged. Police say the man was treated at St Marys Hospital.

A spokesman says the man has a conceal and carry permit.
