According to an article published on alot.com, the residents in this Minnesota town suffer from a very unattractive syndrome!

The website has a travel section that recently published an article about the ugliest cities in each state. Minnesota’s “ugliest” city is actually a small town that honestly looks like a lot of other midwestern towns.

Minnesota’s “Ugliest” city is Glencoe which is located about 50 miles west of the Twin Cities.

Glenco has a population of close to 6,000 and according to the town’s website it has “a diverse business community, excellent schools, regional health care system, extensive parks, & great people!”

The article explains that Glencoe was selected as the ugliest city in Minnesota because its residents think their ish doesn’t stink.

“As for this tiny Minnesota town -- on top of looking generally ugly-- Glencoe suffers from the worst kind of small-town syndrome -- exclusivity.”

Ouch! I’ve never been to Glencoe, but I have lived in small towns and know they can be very cliquey.

The real estate website actually gives the town an overall grade of B- because the public schools are above average and the crime level is low.
