My high school speech teacher is the reason you’re reading this. I was a bit of a class-clown and one day after the bell rang he pulled me aside to talk. He was probably super annoyed by my antics but I’m pretty sure some my jokes made him laugh. Instead of scolding me, he took the opportunity to challenge me. He told me in order to be successful, I’d need to find a career where I could showcase these talents – AKA being a wise-ass. Shortly after graduating I started interning for a local radio station and have been on the radio ever since. You can listen to “The Get Up and Go Morning Show with Dunken & Carly” every weekday morning on 106.9 KROC and follow me on Facebook and Instagram.
