The National Weather Service in LaCrosse Wisconsin is predicting icy road conditions come Monday, apart of Winter Storm Jupiter.

While it is still to early to predict what the amount of precipitation we will get in Southeast Minnesota, they are expecting:

  • Additional slick and icy roads. Even where temperatures warm above freezing on Monday, cold roads may still allow ice to accumulate.
  • Wintry mix of freezing rain, snow, sleet, and rain
  • Glaze to 2/10" of ice possible. 1-2" of snow north of Interstate 90.

Expect icy conditions on the Monday morning commute, so make sure you have extra time for travel. Always stay tuned to 103.1 KFIL for weather updates!
