The Music of 2016 Featured in New Country Music Hall of Fame Exhibit
The Country Music Hall of Fame has announced another new exhibit for 2017 called The American Currents (The Music of 2016).
The exhibit is set to launch in March 2017, highlighting the latest changes and accomplishments in country music and providing a behind-the-scenes look at many noteworthy moments in the genre from 2016. Fans can look forward to seeing artifacts from some of country's established stars, including Kelsea Ballerini, Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton and his wife Morgane, Brett Eldredge and Maren Morris, in addition to promising up and comers like Mickey Guyton, William Michael Morgan, Jon Pardi and Margo Price.

In celebration of its 50th anniversary, the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville has been rolling out details all week long about its upcoming roster of exhibits for 2017. Some of the genre's biggest stars, including Jason Aldean, Shania Twain, Loretta Lynn and power couple Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, are getting their own displays. The superstar exhibits open at varying times throughout 2017, ranging from May through November.
“This year the museum celebrates half a century of collecting, preserving and interpreting the history of country music,” says museum CEO Kyle Young in a press release. “With a great mix of exhibition subjects that range from a legendary Country Music Hall of Fame member to the best of today, our golden anniversary schedule reflects one of the true hallmarks of country music — its constant evolution. As we explore the journeys of these country music greats, whose combined careers span almost 150 years, we also reflect on the museum’s 50-year evolution and celebrate what is ahead.”
