Zach Haugerud got things started with a 55-yard run followed by a five-yard run from Alec Sikkink that gave the Falcons a 7-0 lead. Trevor Hershberger picked off a Cotter pass on the very first play of the possession of Cotter, and then the Falcons struck quick again to take a 13-0 lead.

The Falcons went back to work in the second quarter when Sikkink scored his second touchdown of the game, as the Falcons continued to dominate on the ground. Haugerud scored from 10-yards out to make it 28-0.

Right before the half, Haugerud connected with Sikkink on a screen pass that Sikkink took 44 yards to the house to make it 35-0 at the break.

The Cotter Ramblers just couldn't get anything going offensively, despite some strong runs from running back Brenin Speltz. To start the second half, Cotter had a couple of really nice drives, led by Quarterback Tate Gilbertson, but couldn't come away with any points.

The second-half went by quickly as neither team could find the paydirt and they traded possessions.

Sikkink led the way for Fillmore Central with his three touchdowns, while Haugerud led the way on the ground with 109 yards rushing and a touchdown.

Fillmore Central moved to 1-3 with the win while Cotter fell to 1-2.
