Country Music History November 14

Saturday greetings, country music fans!  We're getting back to normal here at KFIL following an exciting Friday of high school football coverage.  Congratulations go out again to the Caledonia Warriors and Grand Meadow SuperLarks!  And thanks again, to our fans and sponsors!

Now on to country music history for today - quite brief as there is not much to report.  In 2010, Extreme MakeOver: Home Edition, featured the restoration project of the Nashville Lighthouse Christian School.  The show highlighted performances by Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban.

And in 1977, Crystal Gayle's "Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue" was certified gold.
