If you have a fear of Friday the 13th, then yes you do!  So what's all the hubbub about Friday the 13th?  Now, we're talking the date, not the movie.

While historians are not totally clear how Friday and the 13th became tied together, there are a couple of reasons why each is considered to be bad luck on their own.  Many believe it to be based in Christianity.  Jesus was crucified on a Friday; therefore, Friday is often believed to be a bad omen.  Thousands of years ago it was felt to be bad luck to get married on Friday or start a trip on Friday.

As far as the number 13, it's believed to be a bearer of bad luck because Judas, the disciple who betrayed Jesus, was the 13th guest at the Last Supper.

So, there you have the early origins of why Friday the 13th is bad luck.  Do you have paraskevidekatriaphobia?
