Chatfield Area Barn Destroyed by Fire

Chatfield, MN (KROC-AM News) -  An early morning fire destroyed a barn at a rural property near Chatfield today.

A spokesman for the Olmsted County Sheriff's Office says the fire was reported around 5 AM at the site along Highway 52 about 5 miles north of Chatfield. The responding firefighters found the barn engulfed in flames. No injuries were reported and the cause has not been determined.

The overall loss was estimated at about $50,000.
