The Caledonia Warriors' football program has won 65 straight games. The longest in the nation for a high school. Their run has been incredible, no doubt about it, and they will look to notch another win in the belt in the state quarterfinals.

The Warriors will welcome Pipestone, the champions of Section 3 for quarterfinal matchup in the Class AA State Tournament. The Warriors, who come into the tournament ranked number 1 in Class AA, average over 38 points per game, and give up just over five.

Their defense has been a big reason why the program has won four straight state titles and will look to make it five. It all starts at Rochester Mayo's varsity football field when Pipestone will make the trip east.

Pipestone comes in with a record of 7-3 and was the second seed in the Section 3 tournament. Pipestone was the team Caledonia beat for the state championship in 2017 and 2015. The Warriors won each of those games by a combined score of 97-6.

You know Pipestone will look to upend the Warriors and try to shut down a great Warriors team. Pipestone has scored just over 29 points per game, and have allowed just over 15.

The Warriors path for five straight state championships starts with a battle with Pipestone on Friday in Rochester. The game will be broadcasted on either FUN 104.3 or 103.1 KFIL. Make sure to stay tuned for the action.
