The Caledonia Warriors dominated their way through the State Tournament and that didn't change in the State Championship game. The Warriors defense was unbelievable, holding Pipestone to -11 yards of total offense in the 57-6 win.

It all started with a pick six by Marten Morem to give the Warriors a 6-0 lead. Extra points were hard to come by as the Warriors didn't convert on one until late in the game. Caledonia kept the offense going with a beautiful touchdown pass to Sam Barthel from Owen King. King and Barthel connected on three touchdowns in the game. King also connected with Evan Denstad and Andrew Goergen for scores.

It was all apart of a record-setting performance from King, who scored a total of six touchdowns in the championship game, tying a Prep Bowl record.

King may have the records at Caledonia, going 41-0 as a starter and winning three State Championships, but the squad doesn't get there without his incredible offensive live, incredible running backs and ferocious defense.

The Caledonia Warriors dominated en route to their third straight title, and they rode the back of a talent defense along with an All-State QB. It was an incredible showing by the Warriors who allowed Pipestone to complete two passes, and rush for a total of -11 yards.

The lone score for Pipestone was on a kick return, when the return team threw the ball back across the field to Carter Nesvold who streaked down the sideline for the score.

Other than that, it was all Caledonia to the 57-6 win.
