Been a busy week here at KFIL and KVGO Radio

This week, the first full week of May, we start to celebrate May Beef Month.  May beef month is just like it sounds, where the entire month we pay tribute to the beef industry. We give thanks to the hard working men and women who work day and night to provide us with those delicious burgers and steaks we so enjoy.  Make sure you listen the entire month as we have some freebies for the listeners.  $10.00 in free beef to be exact.  Listen throughout the day, and if you know your beef trivia, you could be a winner.

Also this week, saw a doubleheader on KFIL Radio for baseball and softball.  Just one day we had High School games on KFIL and KVGO.  Thursday was the big day, and on KFIL Radio we saw Chatfield defeat Caledonia/Spring Grove by a score of 3-2.  KVGO saw Dover-Eyota defeat Fillmore Central/Lanesboro by a score of 3-1.  Kind of crazy to think in just a few short weeks, its playoff time.  Stay tuned to KFIL and KVGO radio to hear our playoff schedule and catch your teams in action

This week also saw the Minnesota Twins start a 3 game series against the Houston Astros.  Winning the First game Monday evening, but dropping the last 2 of the series.  Bringing the Twins record for the year to 8 and 20.  A few more wins, and .500 isn't far out of the question.  Today brings the Twins the start of a 3 game series with the Chicago White Sox.  Remember all your Minnesota Twins games can be heard on KFIL radio 103.1.  We do not stream games online, but you can catch all the action on your radio.

All and all, I would say it was one busy week here at KFIL and KVGO radio.  It doesn't slow down for us at all, so stay tuned and see what next week brings on True Country KFIL and your Good Time Oldies Channel, Cool 104.
