"What are we doing for MEA weekend?"  If your kids are asking that question and you aren't really sure what to do, I have 5 great ideas for you and your family.

My kids have ants in their pants and are ready to do something fun!  Sadly, we really didn't do much during the summer due to COVID-19, and one child, in particular, is stating that he "had the most boring summer EVER!".  He isn't lying but he did stay safe...so bonus to me, the mom, for making that happen.

MEA weekend always happens in October in Minnesota and basically means that kids get a few days off of school and in normal years, this is a great time for families to take a mini-vacation.  COVID-19 has changed our world quite a bit, including MEA weekend fun.  If you are looking for something to do that doesn't involve going to the Wisconsin Dells, here are 5 fun activities that are mom and kid-approved.

What are your plans for MEA?  I'd love to hear them.  Send me a message on my Facebook page (Jessica On The Radio) or DM me on Instagram and let me know what you love to devour.  If I had to pick just one type of chocolate, it would have to be dark chocolate covered salted caramel.  Wait, maybe milk chocolate with caramel inside.  It's too hard to pick between the two so I'm just picking both.
