They are a common sight on our rural roadways - school buses.  October 19-23, 2015 is National School Bus Safety Week, with this year's theme being "Be Smart - Be Seen, I wait in a safe place".  According to napt.org, more than twenty-five million children ride buses to and from school every day and to after school activities.  National School Bus Safety Week is a good reminder to us all to protect our greatest asset, our children, and be mindful of school buses on our rural roadways and always follow school bus safety. KFIL takes this time to thank school bus drivers for their service and for making sure our children arrive safely.
