At one time the Anderson Hotel House in Wabasha allowed guests to reserve a cat to keep them company while they stayed on the property. That unique amenity is no longer offered but you could bring it back if you bought the hotel. It's the oldest hotel in Minnesota and will be auctioned off on August 1st.

The 23-room hotel was built in 1856 and contains furniture and decor from the 1850s along with modern amenities. Grafe Auctions says the property has been fully renovated and updated and includes the original carriage house next to the hotel which has a full kitchen, dining room, living room, and two bedrooms. The auction company says the carriage house is perfect for an onsite caretaker or could be used as an additional rental property.
