After the Gophers rolled Maryland on Saturday, Gopher Head Coach PJ Fleck didn't take long to go right after ESPN and it's popular College Football pregame show GameDay. Fleck didn't stop with his post-game on-field interview with publicly lobbying for the show to come to Minneapolis in two weeks for the showdown between two undefeated teams in Penn State and Minnesota Nov 9.

Here is PJ Fleck talking about the reasons why ESPN's GameDay should come to Minneapolis after Saturday's win against Maryland from Fox 9's Hobie Artigue.

According to this 24/7 sports blog, "an announcement [is] expected Monday for this week's College GameDay location, this is the longest ESPN has gone all season before revealing its next location for America's most popular pre-game show."

It seems that GameDay is struggling to pick where it will be because of some of the big match-ups Nov 9. Some of the possibilities are Penn State vs. Minnesota - a showdown between two unbeaten Big-10 teams, SMU-Memphis - a game that will determine frontrunning status in the AAC - along with the World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party in Jacksonville (Florida-Georgia).

Last weekend the show was in Brookings South Dakota for the NDSU/SDSU game for the Dakota Marker game.
