
Two More Minnesota Pedestrians Killed
Undated (KROC AM News) - Two more pedestrians have been killed in Minnesota, both hit while walking on interstates in the Twin Cities.
One happened around 1 a.m. Friday in Minnetonka. The State Patrol says the driver of a pickup truck crashed on I-494 and was walking across the freeway when he was hit by a car. The man was identified as 31-year-old Jeremy Larson of Sartell.
The other incident happened around 2:30 Thursday morning in Burnsville. The State Patrol says for unknown reasons, a woman walked in front of an SUV on I-35 and was killed. She was identified as 60-year-old Laura Lavine of Faribault. The State Patrol says the driver of the car was 40-year-old Laura Koeppl of Burnsville. The Patrol says she had been drinking but her blood/alcohol level was within the state’s legal limit.
