Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Residents in SW and northern Minnesota won’t have to worry about doing spring yard work for a few days - or longer.

The leading edge of a major storm moved into the state Wednesday morning and is expected to impact most of Minnesota through Friday.

As of 8:00 AM Wednesday, the National Weather Service office in La Crosse was predicting rain, freezing rain and only light snow ( 1 - 3 inches?) for SE Minnesota through Friday. But some areas in SW Minnesota could receive up to 2 feet of snow.
