Everyone is rooting for Gabby.
That was the headline back in October of the Fillmore County Journal. A story that gave the area a look at the journey that one family and one baby was going through.
Gabby Brown was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in October of 2018 and the 1-year-old continues to fight as she been receiving treatments to fight the disease. In an effort to support the family during this journey, there have been numerous benefits. Including one where you get to turn up and help raise money for an amazing cause.
Turn Up For Gabby Brown is a spring dance at The Hall in Harmony. Cover charge is $10 at the door and all the money raised at the door will be donated to the Gabby Brown and her family. Gabby's parents, Matt and Heidi, own Estelle’s Eatery & Bar in Harmony.
DJ Karaoke Joe and Lane Powell will be providing the music from 8pm-12pm at The Hall in Harmony, which was donated by Miles Petree and Lisa Miller. A cash bar will be available as well.
