Tornadoes Possible This Afternoon in Southeast Minnesota

The National Weather Service in La Crosse just posted a warning to their Facebook page. They say severe thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening. And those storms could produce tornadoes, wind damage, and large hail. The NWS is closely monitoring the weather and says "there is a chance that tornadoes, if they develop, could be strong."

We'll continue to watch the weather through the day and provide updates to you on the air and online. If a tornado warning is issued you should seek shelter immediately. As you can see in the weather map below, Rochester and most of our listening area is in the "greatest risk" zone. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best.
