Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A homeless man who has kept Rochester police busy in recent months was at it again over the weekend - this time at the Law Enforcement Center.

An officer was getting ready to go on patrol around 11:30 AM Sunday when he noticed three vehicles with slashed tires in the west parking lot. A short while later he was called to the nearby 2nd St parking ramp to check a report of a very intoxicated man. The officer found 61-year-old Rodolfo Maldonado still there. After a breath test showed Maldonado’s blood/alcohol level was nearly .34, the officer took him to St. Marys Hospital to be treated.

The officer later checked the surveillance system at the LEC and saw it was Maldonado who had slashed the tires. Two of the cars are city vehicles.

Police Capt. Casey Moilanen says Maldonado had 16 officer-related incidents in June alone. One involved a reported attempted robbery.
