Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office Issues Scam Warning

The Fillmore County Sheriff's Office issued a warning for a possible scam from Tuesday, December 3rd.

According to the Sheriff's Office Facebook Page, a possible scam attempt occurred after a Fillmore County resident received a call from a number that appeared to be the Sheriff's Office number, claiming this person needed to go to the court to file some paperwork or they would be arrested.

The Sherriff's Office reminded residents that they won't call before coming to arrest you, they wouldn't be calling you first.
