The Best Day of the Week to get Cheaper Gas

GasBuddy did a study recently to figure out what day of the week is typically the cheapest to get gas. With gas prices continuing to go up this little piece of knowledge is very important!

They took a look at gas price data from January 2019 to March 2019 and determined the day of the week that gas is usually the cheapest is Monday. So on your way to or from work think about filling up the tank!

Head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy, Patrick DeHaan, told KARE 11 that "as the week progresses and our excitement builds for the weekend, gas prices also tend to rise."

According to GasBuddy's graphic displaying the results, Tuesday's are an ok day to fill up the tank too. If you need to top off your tank for the weekend do that on Wednesday or Thursday. And, if possible, don't stop at the gas station over the weekend!
