Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - It was a close call Tuesday at a Rochester business when a truck fell off some jack stands and pinned an employee.

Rochester Police Lt. Mike Sadauskis says the employee was working under the three-axle truck at Lesmeister Fleet Service when one of the stands apparently failed.

Sadauskis says other employees used a power jack to free the employee and he was “conscious and alert but in a lot of pain” before being taken to St. Marys Hospital.

The employee - 46-year-old Kevin Harrington of Rochester - was listed in fair condition Wednesday morning.
