
Stewartville Man Accused Of Attacking Man, Car With Baseball Bat

Stewartville, MN (KROC AM News) - A Stewartville man is accused of using a baseball bat to attack the boyfriend of his former girlfriend.
Olmsted County deputies were called to a residence in the 300 block of 23rd St NW around 3:00 pm Monday by the former girlfriend. She said 28-year-old Preston Landrum was hitting the car her boyfriend was in with the bat.
Her boyfriend apparently tried to stop Landrum and started getting out of the car. That’s when Landrum allegedly hit him in the left leg with the bat. The man was hurt but did not seek medical attention. Damage to the car included a broken windshield
Landrum drove off when deputies arrived but after a short pursuit, was apprehended. He was arrested on felony assault and damage to property charges.
