Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A man described by Rochester Police as homeless was arrested yesterday after he allegedly assaulted a security guard at the US Bank location in downtown Rochester.

Captain Casey Moilanen says the guard interceded when he saw a man moving furniture and asked him to leave. When he did not, the guard tried to take his photo and that’s when he was assaulted. Captain Moilanen says the 57-year-old man was knocked to the ground and was punched several times in the head. He suffered a large cut on his face but treated at the scene.

His attacker, identified by police as 22-year-old Marcus Chamber, was later found in a downtown skyway and was arrested on suspicion of 3rd-degree assault.
