If you've ever wondered how YOU could help the homeless in the Rochester, Minnesota community, NOW is the time to jump right in. It was just announced that The Landing MN will be opening their new location soon and are hosting two informational sessions for anyone interested in volunteering.
Volunteers Needed for New Homeless Day Center Opening Soon in Rochester, Minnesota
I've heard many individuals say that they would love to know how they could help those experiencing homelessness in the Rochester community. Statements like, "What is the best way to help?" or "What should I give to someone that I see who states on a sign that they are homeless?".
If you've ever asked those questions or just wondered how you can help the 882 unique individuals that have been helped by The Landing, MN just this year (yes, 882 unique individuals!), a really exciting opportunity is available for community members. The Landing, MN is looking for volunteers to help at their new day center that will be opening soon. If you are interested, you are asked to attend an upcoming volunteer information session.

- WHAT: If you’d like to learn more about the volunteer opportunities at the day shelter, what training is required for all volunteers, and learn some of the best practices for helping the homeless community in Rochester, please attend one of the sessions.
