Sam Gibson to Audition for ‘The Voice’

Our little town of Preston is buzzing with excitement this morning with the news that our own Samantha Gibson is going to audition for "The Voice"!  A 2009 Fillmore Central graduate, Sam will be traveling to Chicago on February 22 for her "The Voice" audition.

I know first-hand how talented Sam is, having seen her perform in several Wit's End Theater productions in Chatfield. Her energy is exuberant and her talent outstanding. Sam tends to steal every scene she is in, no matter how small her part.

You might recall that Sam worked here at KFIL as a part-time announcer a couple years ago and did an awesome job. Good luck in Chicago, Sam! When you make it big, and I have no doubt you will someday, I'll be proud to say I knew you when.
