Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) -  The name of the woman who was killed in a traffic wreck in Rochester Tuesday has been released.

The victim was in a small SUV that collided with a car at the intersection of 48th St and Commercial Dr SW around 4:45 pm.

The woman was identified as 63-year-old Stacey York of Spring Valley. Police Capt. Casey Moilanen says Good Samaritans who were at the scene performed CPR on the woman until paramedics arrived but she died at the scene. Her 19-year-old daughter was driving the vehicle and she was seriously injured.

Moilanen says their vehicle was on Commercial Dr and pulled in front of the car, which was westbound on 48th St.

A 31-year-old Rochester woman was driving the other vehicle. Two children - ages 5 and 10 - were in her car. Their injuries were described as non-life-threatening.
